I finally decided to put another journal up, after focusing most of my attention on classwork. 18 credits with lack of sleep are a terrible concoction.

College life isn't as hard in some aspects as others make it out to be. If you can manage your time well enough, and try to find some relaxation in between your studies, it can actually be a great experience. That's good to assume except when you become bogged down like me with work, classes and the honors program. It seems like it may never end sometimes.

Nevertheless, I intend to devote some more time to putting up deviations and other works if possible.

Hey guys, sorry I haven't put up a new journal since last year... I had a lot of things to do for my senior year (i.e. getting ready for college and in the fall).

I finally made it! It was a long ten hour flight, but I got to see many things. For one, I saw Miyajima Island, with the oijii shrine and all of the deer, especially one that took off with some stores merchandise. Also, the host family I am staying with is great, though they do not speak good english. The family consists of the father and mother(who both often work during the whole day), Misato(15), Haruka(14), Yuta(11) and the 1 year old dog named Ryu. I also am attending Hatsukaichinishi high school, and I made many friends who all want to show me their school. Anyways, I have tried many new foods, such as Tempura, Udon Tempura, Nomooriaki, Japanese ramen, shrimp, shellfish, some lobster, and sushi(salmon). Besides this, I am still trying to understand their language, in which I already know very little... Still, I am trying my best, and it is the start of a great experience. I hope to take many pictures, so be ready. Until later!

I leave for my Japan trip in 17 hours and 45 minutes!

First I have a layover in Chicago, then I go to San Fransisco for cultural orientation for 3 days. Then I leave on the 17th for Japan. Then I'll land in Tokyo and ride the bullet train to Hiroshima. I will be staying with a host family until August 2nd and then I'll come home.

Sorry about not being on much (I was pretty much dead here, wasn't I?). I was busy with school and exams and packing for my Japan trip. After I come back, I should be able to be on here and comment more until school starts up again. I will also have LOTS of Japan pictures to show you all.

This past Friday I finally turned in my research paper! It took me about two weeks to find all of the information on the internet, in which I was very fustrated because I could barely find enough sources. My research novel for this was called Foundation by Isaac Asimov, and since it was published in 1982 there have not been many critics to analyze it. When I finished typing i had a solid ten pages, which suprised me much (after five hours). But after finishing such a task, I am glad that it is now Spring Break! I can now relax and enjoy the weather, though it is extremly cold for April...
